Edmonton Storefront Improvement Grant
Edmonton pays back up to $25,000 for mid-block buildings, or up to $50,000 for corner buildings, for exterior storefront work. This is a matching grant, so you pay first and get reimbursed after approval. Applications are accepted only in fixed windows (February, April and November); the next intake runs November 1-30, 2026, so plan ahead. Applications open soon.

Before you spend any money
Get the city's approval BEFORE you start work or buy anything. Work started before approval may not be funded. The city accepts applications only in set windows (February, April and November) and turns away any sent outside them. The next window is November 1-30, 2026.
