Windsor Main Streets Facade Improvement Program
The City of Windsor pays back 50% of facade and signage costs on Windsor's main streets, up to $30,000. You pay first, and the city pays its share after inspection. Applications are open.

Get the city's approval BEFORE you start work or buy anything. If you start early, you can lose this funding.

How applying works

What to know before you count on it
- Cost-share: you pay for the work first, then the city reimburses its share (about half) after it's done and inspected.
- Apply and get approved BEFORE you start any work or buy anything. Work that starts early can disqualify your project.
- Only properties in Windsor's Main Streets Community Improvement Plan (CIP) areas qualify. These are traditional main streets and Business Improvement Areas (BIAs). Check that your address is inside an area before you spend.
- Municipal funding is limited each year. Confirm money is still available.
